Big Brother: Kamu Confronts Jason During An Unbelievably Awkward Tea Party, And The Tense Exchange Leaves Everyone Speechless

It’s the tea party from hell that had Big Brother fans glued to their social media feeds ever since it went viral on the live feeds over the weekend. And now it is coming to broadcast television.
In a juicy four-minute clip that CBS just dropped that will air on tonight’s episode of Big Brother (and can be watched below) we see Mallory Aurichio’s grand plans for a dainty tea party go down in flames as Kamu Kirk decides to confront Jason De Puy over rumors that the latter was planning to gun for the former… even though Kamu was always planning to backdoor Jason and send him out of the house as a replacement nominee after the veto.
The scene that unfolds is far from what Mallory originally intended.
“I love throwing parties,” she informs us with a big grin on her face to begin the festivities. “So I’m so excited to throw my first-ever official tea party in the house!”
You even see everyone getting all gussied up for the event, with Drew Campbell and Barrett Pfeiffer even donning dresses for the occasion.
“Everybody’s dressing up, we’re making cute little snacks, even some that are have-not friendly,” Mallory enthusiastically reports. “We’re decorating the table and all going outside and drinking tea.”
She then tells the group as they assemble and nibble on snacks: “Guys, this is actually like a dream come true.”
But not for long.
A hint of what is to come is seen early on when Kamu is shown rehearsing a speech while pacing up in his Head of Household bathroom as ominous music plays. And once everyone is finally seated in the backyard, Kamu acts like he is leaning into the unity — telling everyone how “amazing” they all are and initiating a toast. But then, he professes a desire to “address the elephant in the room.”
And the elephant’s name is apparently Jason.
“Shortly before the nomination ceremony, I had a conversation with Jason,” Kamu tells the group. “And I offered him a deal. I said, ‘Hey, Jason, if I don’t put you up on the block and you happen to get picked and play in the Veto comp and you win, will you allow me to decide what to do with that veto?’ And he goes, ‘Dude, absolutely.’ And I said, ‘All right, man. Well, let’s make a deal.’”
Kamu continues: “We shook hands. But after you and I made that agreement, several people started to come up to me saying that you had made a deal with all three of the nominees. That if they picked you to play in the competition, you would use the Veto on them to take them down. If you were to win the Power of Veto yesterday, would you have held your end of our deal or would you have used it on Lala like you told her you would?”
But unlike at last week’s veto nomination ceremony, in which Angela Murray caught Jason flat-footed by revealing she knew about him making faces behind her back, this time Jason was ready with a strong rebuttal. As he tells us in a Diary Room clip: “Kamu’s trying to spill some piping hot tea, but baby, I’m the kettle. Sit down.”
