Big Brother 28 Power Rankings Week 3: After A Wild Week Of Twists, Here’s Who Controls The Game And Who’s In Serious Trouble

1. Devens

This week Devens takes the top spot from Dee for a few reasons. One, his HOH reign was clean and successful and he was able to sit back this week unscathed. Oh, and he also now has the Diamond Power of Veto. That’s the strongest power you can have in this game, so until he uses it or loses it, he is the most powerful person in the game. There’s no questioning that. Not to mention, he’s a part of the huge alliance currently under way with a full steamroll. (Last Ranking: 2)

2. Dee

Dee slips to No. 2 only because Devens has the DPOV. I still think she is in a more solid spot in the game, as she is so well insulated by the big alliance, but also has solid relationships outside that. And she’s likely to get the next power (or punishment), so I’m fully prepared for that. (Last Ranking: 1)

3. Kamu

As the current Head of Household and now among the priority group for Dee and Devens, Kamu has had a pretty powerful week. Of course, the Tea Party incident didn’t do any real favors for his game, so Kamu’s power ranking could slip fast. But at this point, that whole Red Corner group are going to be solid unless someone outside that wins HOH and makes a bold move. (Last Ranking: 4)

4. Angela

Angela moves up a spot for all the same reasons I’ve mentioned. She might no longer be Dee and Devens’ top priority, but they are by no means ready to disconnect from what they have with Angela. So as long as she keeps her paranoia down, she can keep riding with that majority alliance. (Last Ranking: 5)

5. Lyric

Lyric takes a big leap this week because she’s now without a showmance target on her back and she won the Power of Veto this week to save herself from the block (which allowed Kamu to move forward with his plan to get Jason out this week). I don’t see Lyric staying this high up for long, but I give credit where credit is due. (Last Ranking: 10)

6. Drew

Drew is slipping from the Crossovers and Toolshed (which is why he drops three spots this week), but he has potential to be the one to lead a revolt from the other side. There has been talk of that with Barrett, so I think Drew holds some power outside that big alliance. He has bonds with the other side of the house and could really do some damage to the Dee/Devens side if he were to smoothly separate from them. (Last Ranking: 3)

7. Chuk

As of now, Haley and Chuk are interchangeable. They’re playing the same kind of game (which isn’t much of one, but are fully protected by the real power players). I don’t think these rankings any more than you, the reader, probably does. But again, here we are. (Last Ranking: 9)

I don’t think Haley is playing much of a game, or offering anything to the table, but she has found herself in the right group, so here we are. I don’t have that much to say about someone ranked so high here, but that’s kind of how the season has shaped up. Her social game is pretty terrible, actually, so as I write this I’m going to move her below Chuk. (Last Ranking: 8)

9. Melody

I think Melody has some real potential in the game. I really want her to come into some power and see what she does. I keep wanting to rank her higher because she sees what’s going on in the game and seems to know what needs to be done. I have high hopes for her, even if nothing ever happens there. (Last Ranking 6)

10. Taylor

Like Melody, Taylor has potential. She’s been laying really, really low and keeping her hands clean and staying far from the drama. She could easily slip past the power players and get a shot at making a move. (Last Ranking: 11)

11. Barrett

Barrett has yet to make any sort of moves, but that could be strategy. Like Drew, he’s on the outs with the big alliance, but he never felt really solid there anyway. He knows he was the last person included in the alliance, so he has been doubtful from the start. But he has a good social game and has been protected thus far. (Last Ranking: 7)

12. Yash

I am really not sure what is going on with Yash. He is not really a part of anything major, but he has somehow been in a safe position since Week 1. I think he could be a sleeper player, so watch out when he wakes up. (Last Ranking: 14)

13. Jason

I’m going to throw Jason a bone here and boost him a few spots from last week. Because I have a feeling he actually can win the Block Buster tonight. He might be the target this week, but he isn’t going down without a fight, and I respect that. And he really did get to Kamu with the emotional warfare, despite Kamu saying he wasn’t going to let that happen. You could see it on his face in Wednesday’s episode. Now that’s power. 15. Mallory

I am not sure why Mallory is Kamu’s “Plan B” this week, but apparently she is. And she keeps finding herself in danger, so I can’t very well rank her any higher. She’s just sort of a non-player at this point, despite how much air-time she’s getting as a nominee once again. I keep forgetting she did win the veto week 1, but this is week 3. Maybe I should rank her higher, but I think for this week, this is where she stands. If she wins that Block Buster tonight, I’ll give her a boost next week. (Last Ranking 13)
