đ„ Big Brother 28 Episode 7 Recap: Explosive Fight Night, Egg Drama, And Nonstop Chaos Rock The House From Start To Finish

The new Big Brother 28 episode began with some comedy, with the narrator warning fans to âhold itâ and not take a bathroom break yet. They shared a quick recap of Episode 6 (last Sunday) and then jumped into the drama.
As a reminder, Devens became the new Head of Household, and he was holding his Nomination Ceremony. But things got nutty as Jason interrupted, and Angela responded, tipping off some drama before the ceremony was over.
Devens had previously made Rome his primary target, but through a âbackdoorâ effort. Lyric, Melody, and Jason were nominated, but everything could change at the Veto Competition.
âYou ainât seen nothing yet,â the narrator teased.
Big Brother 28, Episode 7 recap from July 22
Devens adjourned the Nomination Ceremony, but Jason said âbig liarâ before Angela called for a house meeting. She called Jason a âmessy, wannabe Big Brother playerâ as they strolled around the table. Jason and Angela went at it for a moment as everyone else watched in dismay.
The theatrics got very intense. Angela and Jason traded barbs, with Angela pointing out how Jason had played up his manipulation of her to the cameras. She also claimed âAmerica loves meâ and wanted to protect her by giving her that power.
âThis is THE showdown at the Dining Table Time Machine⊠Humpty Dumpty vs the Green Goblin,â Barrett joked in a Diary Room session.
Devens tried to adjourn the ceremony again, only to be interrupted by Haley. She accused Jason of telling her he wanted the girls out. Devens then added that Jason had offered to spread âwhite liesâ to keep the girls âunder controlâ in the house.
Drew then admitted during a Diary Room session that he had been the one feeding Angela information about and from Jason.
Later, Angela turned on Rome, who had given Devens a list of who he wanted safe. That list only included Lyric, Melody, and Jason. Not Lala.
Devens gets what he wanted by blowing up Romeâs game
Devens said, âWell, that workedâ during a Diary Room session. He said, âRome will be burningâ if he doesnât win the Power of Veto.
Rome then went after Haley, calling her a âside characterâ and âa snarky b***hâ while saying she was âunbearableâ in the house.
Melody broke down crying, saying she felt she was âplaying a bad gameâ and âsitting alone at lunchâ after making many âwrong decisionsâ in the game.
Lyric said Devens could ânot be trustedâ after she got nominated. But she had to see this coming.
In a Diary Room session, Jason admitted to being âmessyâ and that he went too far trying to pull one over on Angela. He seemed authentic. He also cracked some jokes with Angela, and she said she would forgive him. But in a Diary Room session, she said she wouldnât forget.
Lala was shown crying a lot about Rome not trying to protect her. She âfelt stupidâ and âblindsidedâ by all of it. Taylor suggested they both lie low for a bit.
Devens and Dee later celebrated in the HOH Room. Dee called it âthe best day everâ after Rome blew up his own game.
Everything rides on the Big Brother Power of Veto
Devens selected Angelaâs chip at the Veto Meeting. Barrettâs chip came out next.
Devens, Lyric, Melody, Jason, Angela, and Barrett were the Week 2 veto players.
The Veto Competition had the players trying to complete puzzles on a wall. The pieces were all different sizes, making it difficult to gauge where each piece went.
Devens won the Power of Veto. He kept the power in his own hands for the week. It appeared he only won by looking at other peopleâs work. But a winâs a win here, right?
Angela struggles and a fake Big Brother breakup
Angela was really struggling in the Egg Detective costume. It seems like many fans wonât have sympathy for her here.
Rome and Lyric concocted a fake breakup to save themselves. So, as part of the plan, Lyric went to flirt with other guys in the house. Some of the guys flirted right back.
It was an odd strategy. Rome also pretended he was single. Could they find a way to both stay in the house?
But Drew didnât buy the plan.
Lyric also went to Devens to advocate for herself. She might have convinced him that she would protect him if he saved her from the block.
Drew asked Devens to save Melody (heâs working with her on the side).
The Veto Ceremony sets the final nominees on Big Brother 28
Devens saved Lyric from the block. Rome was named the replacement nominee. Devens did this to get in Lyricâs good graces.
Rome, Melody, and Jason will play in the BB Blockbuster on Thursday night (July 23). Then, someone is going home.
