Big Brother 28: Nomination Anticipation In Week 1

Every week in the Big Brother 28 season we’ll be writing up a “Nomination Anticipation” article that discusses who we expect to be sent to the Block based on the HOH’s discussions and plans from the night before and sometimes thanks to obvious conflicts in the house. This week, that’s a little tougher but we’ll see what we can do and be forewarned that there are Spoilers ahead.

Right now we know that Dee, the third special HG, has won the first HOH thanks to Hamsterwatch’s sources and that means she will be making the Noms today inside the House. So who will she pick? Umm…

We do know who she can’t put on the Block thanks to the first night’s safety competitions. Rome, Chuck, and Jason all secured their own personal safety for the week and can’t be sent to the Block or renom’d later in the round. I would also wager to guess that Devens and Angela will be safe either by way of direct announcement or “you better not touch our expensive new toys” guidance along the way. That still leaves us with plenty of options for Dee.

With the return of the Block Buster twist this season that means each HOH will need to nominate three HGs for possible eviction. The Block Buster comp should be held live on Thursday’s during the eviction show to eliminate one of the three options before HGs head into the Diary Room.

Will Dee go for breaking up a possible Bros alliance? She could target Yash, Kamu, and then maybe Drew or Barrett for the last spot. Considering three guys just swept the safety comps, might not be a bad idea to try and take out another one of their ranks. This seems like the right direction, but maybe Dee will have a much different plan. And that wouldn’t be crazy either because the HGs are now on Day 4 of the season in the game with alliances and discussions influencing in ways we just can’t know.
