😱 Big Brother 28 Episode 13 Recap: Power Changes Hands As The New HOH Targets Enemies In A Ruthless Revenge Mission!

It was Big Brother time again on Sunday night. And it was time for CBS viewers to learn who had become the new Head of Household.
When we last saw the houseguests, Jason was getting unanimously evicted. He ended up on the wrong side of the primary alliances.
To this point, the Red Corner alliance has also controlled the game. Devens, Dee, Chuk, Haley, and Kamu are controlling nearly everything. And Angela has been helping them.
We also have the Tooldshed alliance, comprising the six people above with Barrett and Drew in the mix. Would the new episode keep those eight people in control of everything?
Big Brother 28, Episode 13 recap: Time for a new Head of Household
Following the recap, we saw the houseguests’ reactions to Jason going home.
Kamu was really happy and making jokes about being the reason he was done.
Melody was shown speaking about how badly she wanted to become the HOH. She was tired of Haley and wanted to make some big moves.
Meanwhile, Drew was on the outs. He pushed hard to save Mallory last week (had she remained in the block). It caused some people to turn on him, including Devens. Was that foreshadowing of what was coming?
The houseguests played a new Head of Household Competition that involved them parousing five rooms and then locking in answers based on what they saw in the house.
Eliminations were by rounds. Here’s what happened (in order):
- Angela, Devens, La Trice, and Mallory went out in the first round.
- Drew, Melody, and Dee went out in round two.
- Chuk was out in round three.
- Lyric, Barrett, and Tiffany went down in round four.
- It was down to Yash vs Haley.
Haley won the Head of Household Competition and took power. Haley and Taylor immediately began bickering.
The theme of the week suddenly became Haley getting revenge for everything she claimed to have endured over the first three weeks. It’s pretty unclear what she “had to go through” since she was 100 percent safe and in power, but she was pretty adamant about it. She was ready to make a statement with her nominees, so people needed to watch out.
What happened with the Big Brother Time Capsule this week?
Dee won the BB28 Fan Vote. She entered the Time Capsule and won a power.
Dee won the BB Bribe. She can now bribe a houseguest to do her bidding for $5,000. This could be used to get someone to throw a competition, to have someone vote a certain way, or anything else she can think up. It’s good for the full season.
Who did Haley nominate for eviction?
Ahead of nominations, La Trice and Taylor decided to throw Mallory and Melody under the bus. La Trice went to Haley to tell her all the bad things the ladies had said, while covering up all the stuff they had said themselves. Would it impact the nominees?
Melody met with Haley, was asked about the conversations, and came clean. But Haley used her honesty against her, saying, again, after everything she went through during the first three weeks, this had pushed her over the edge.
Haley met with Barrett and Drew, telling each of them she needed to put someone from the Toolshed up as a pawn. Barrett fought back; Drew came up short.
Haley nominated Taylor, Melody, and Drew for eviction.
