Five years ago, she hit a breaking point and had thoughts of not wanting to live. Medication later helped clear those thoughts. Baylen went without her meds during a trip to Carolina. She and her parents cried as they talked about that dark time and compared it to her recent struggle without medication. She waited two and a half days before she ordered a new supply.

Julie said she never thought her daughter could go that long without her meds. Baylen called her medication her backbone and promised her mom she won’t let that happen again. She ordered five refills to last five months. Colin has never seen Baylen unmedicated, but he stayed patient with her. Baylen said she couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
