90 Day Fiance: Rebecca Says Zied Isn’t A “Real” Husband
90 Day Fiance star Rebecca is clearly fed up with the way Zied is setting some unrealistic expectations for her as a wife. She has endured him asking her to be a “real wife” several times, and now it seems that she has had enough of it. During a recent episode, Rebecca yelled at the top of her lungs and told Zied that he wasn’t a “real husband” either.
Rebecca then asked Zied how he felt about the comment as she clearly tried to give him a taste of his own medicine. While he tried to explain his point, Rebecca came up with her counterattacks. Hence, Zied replied, “Give me a chance to talk. What the hell.” This came before Rebecca decided to finally walk away from the argument.
90 Day Fiance Fans Slam Zied For Expecting Rebecca To Work 16 Hours, Cook & Clean
90 Day Fiance star Zied talked about how a real wife cooks, cleans, and does all the household chores, which Rebecca never really did. But when it comes to Rebecca, she clarified that it wasn’t about her not being ready to cook. She was a chef in the past and was even willing to cook for Zied. But the latter doesn’t like American food at all.
Hence, Rebecca and Zied ended up eating different kinds of food. So, cooking clearly got off the list. But when it comes to cleaning and other household work, Rebecca simply doesn’t have any time to do that because she is working and managing all the finances. Even Guillermo tried to explain to Zied that he can’t have the same expectations of Rebecca, as she is not from Tunisia.
Several viewers took to Reddit and wondered what was fundamentally wrong with Zied. They pointed out that he was trying to impose everything on Rebecca that he might have watched women of his country do. The OP even noted that Zied should consider becoming a real husband by providing financially and then expect Rebecca to be involved in the household chores.
A user wrote, “He’s lonely, and she’s stressed. It’s a vicious cycle.” Another one added, “Traditional roles for thee but not for me.” Hence, it is evident that viewers are not ready to accept the kind of double standards that Zied seemed to have.
