Late Thursday night (Friday morning for some fans), we finally learned who won the latest HOH Competition.
Many fans feel they were led astray. YouTube access to the feeds was coming after each episode, right? But that didn’t happen after the eviction episode.
We said goodbye to Ashley on Thursday night. The vote wasn’t even close, as she set the record for most votes against a houseguest (ever).
Sixteen people are playing the game as Week 2 begins, with a new HOH ready to call the shots.
A new HOH takes power on Big Brother 28
Rick Devens is the new Head of Household. He takes the power from Dee, who was on Survivor 50 with him.
It’s safe to state that Dee and Angela Murray are safe this week. Devens has no reason to rock the boat or to target one of the other reality TV icons.
Alas, this is a worst-case scenario for the rest of the BB28 cast. We can also assume the Crossovers and Red Corner alliances are safe.
Even if a replacement nominee is needed, people in those alliances should be safe from the block. But that’s a problem for the weekend.
Who will Devens nominate for eviction?
Ready for many Big Brother fans to get upset? Devens chatted with Dee about putting up three women as his nominations.
Lala, Melody, and Mallory may be his three nominees. He has also mentioned using Yash instead of Mallory, but that he is fine with three women on the block.
Devens is targeting Melody for eviction. He wants to send another woman out the door right after Ashley.
Devens also spoke with Kamu and said Lyric could be his backup target this week. In that scenario, his nominees could become Melody, Lyric, and Lala.
We at Tea on TV remember when Devens said he didn’t want any repeat noms, so he would stick to his word by keeping Mallory and Yash off the block. But anything can happen in the Big Brother house.
Devens hosts his Nomination Ceremony on Friday, and we are expecting three women to be nominated. Stay tuned for the fireworks.
